Ohio is predicted to have cool and wet conditions around Christmas, with above-average temperatures. The chance of a white Christmas is low for most of the state, though a winter storm could bring last-minute snow. Major cities like Columbus, Cincinnati, and Akron are expecting cloudy conditions with a chance of rain on Christmas Day.

The chances of people enjoying a white Christmas this year are “extremely low”, the Met Office has said. Forecasts predict drier conditions next week, although temperatures are expected to fall gradually. For the Met Office to declare a white Christmas, a single snowflake has to be observed falling anywhere in the UK in the 24 hours of December 25.
However, don't rule out the possibility of snow just yet. The Met Office says it can accurately forecast if snow is likely up to five days beforehand, so we will just have to wait until 20 December to find out for certain whether there is going to be a white Christmas in 2025.
